Mentorship Program

Alumni Mentorship Program

The program will help you:

  • to learn from the experiences of alumni;
  • to grow professionally;
  • to receive the advice and recommendations on academic and career plans.

This program is open for all senior students, and all LCC Alumni willing to participate. 

Duties of the participants

Mentor Duties

Mentors are a valuable resource to students by being supporters, motivators, and challengers. By sharing your knowledge and experience you can provide insights that students didn’t even know they are lacking.   


  • Help students set clear goals for the their academic and career paths
  • Support the student by understanding what they would like to learn from you 


  • Sparing a minimum of an hour (or more) a month for the mentee
  • Organizing meetings and plans with the mentee
  • Providing support and encouragement to the mentee

Mentee Duties

The program is open for all senior students who will be openly invited to register. Only motivated senior students will be enrolled in to the Program. 

Program will help our senior students: 

  • to learn from the experiences of alumni;  
  • to contribute to the LCC mission;   
  • to receive the advice and recommendations for current or future plans, projects, etc.

Mentorship Milestones

Program Schedule

  • September 30th, 2021 – Application Deadline
  • October 8th, 2021 – Matching Mentor to Mentee
  • October 12th, 2021 – Program begins (Monthly check-in’s conducted by CDC office)
  • January, 2022 – Program ends, mentor/mentee evaluations sent out
